Compare · Session replay
FullStory rewinds the tape. Memory tells you what to play next.
Session replay is the best diagnostic tool in analytics: you watch exactly where visitors struggle. Tradly Memory keeps the insight that matters — behavior becomes intent you can act on, remember, and recommend from.
The gap
Watching replays is diagnosis, not treatment
FullStory's session replay is unmatched for understanding UX friction. The limitation is structural: a recording tells you a visitor got stuck — it can't recover the order, personalize the page, or tell your agents who the visitor is.
FullStory gives teams pixel-perfect replays, heatmaps, and frustration signals like rage clicks. For debugging onboarding, checkout, or any flow, nothing else comes close.
But diagnostic power and conversion power are different things. Replays don't trigger a recovery email, don't adjust recommendations, and don't give a support agent context about a returning shopper. FullStory also carries real privacy weight: raw screen recordings can capture passwords, emails, and payment fields, which under GDPR you either must mask, block, or defend. Tradly Memory captures behavior — never identity or screen content — so you get the signal without the exposure, and the signal is actionable by default.

Where it falls short
Three things a replay can't fix
1. It can't recover the visitor
You watch someone abandon at checkout. The replay preserves the moment — it doesn't send a recovery message, retarget them, or change what they see next.
2. It can't remember across visits
Replays are per-session. A shopper on their third visit gets the same fresh-eyes treatment as a first-timer in every tool downstream.
3. It carries privacy liability
Screenshots of forms, emails, and payment pages are PII you now own and must defend. Behavior-only capture avoids the problem entirely.
The difference
Watch the past, or change the next step
FullStory: rewind
You see the failure frame by frame. The visit is already over.
Tradly Memory: act
The stallet becomes intent — recovered, recommended to, remembered.
The alternative
Diagnose with intent, not just video
The insight of replay. The power of action.
Understand where visitors stall, then recover, recommend, and remember them — no screen recordings, no PII exposure.
